Known issues - iPads - Logging on
iPads sometimes seem to have some issues logging on and often seem to fail to recognise they already have the password saved and send a password reset request.
We have a few logged issues with iPads but these seem to be iPad rather than simulator issues as we have tested the same logon on a windows PC at exactly the same time and it works fine.
The problem and a solution: When logging on after entering the username and password the system suggests the password is not recognised. Sometimes it sends a password reset request (without being asked to do so) and on other times it doesn’t. We have found that if you copy or retype the password into the field and press the Logon button on the screen rather than press the iPad keyboard then often it works. With this it’s really difficult to find a permanent solution as it seems that the iPad keyboard is sending some rogue characters however you can try the option mentioned or just reset the password and it logs in fine.
